What we do

Advocacy
We engage with Cabinet Ministers, officials, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure that decision makers take account of our industry’s views.

Networking
Members have several opportunities a year to attend networking events. These include two full conferences, a formal dinner, special industry group meetings, and networking events with regulators.
Conferences

Issues management
We take a lead role in managing issues of importance to the plant and animal science industries.
We work with regulators and other stakeholders to reach sensible solutions, for the end goal of healthy crops, healthy animals and a healthy economy, while minimising risks to the public and the environment.

Communication
We are quoted regularly in the media as the trusted representative of the plant and animal science industries.

Industry newsletters highlight industry's views and are well-read by a variety of stakeholders.  We keep abreast of news and issues and respond to them on behalf of our members.

Because we represent 90 percent of the market, we are recognised as a unified voice for the crop protection and animal health industries.
