Recycling and recovery
Our manufacturer members support the recycling and recovery of their products through Agrecovery. They do this by paying a levy on the products they sell.
Our distributor members, including Farmlands, Farm Source, PGG Wrightson, and Ruralco, also host a number of Agrecovery fixed collection points around the country. This means that farmers and growers can drop their containers off for recycling at these sites. These rural retailers do this for free.
Our members have supported the programme voluntarily since its inception in 2007.
By taking responsibility for their products, our members demonstrate their commitment to product stewardship - a cradle to grave approach to minimising environmental impacts.
